With all the different ideas floating around out there, one of them is bound to make us happy. But I am not interested in an idea that is not founded and based upon truth which is the word of God. There is a prevalent idea among us that states the natural Jew has a foot up and is God chosen apart from the rest of us and furthermore they do not have to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior because they are Gods chosen. I am in no way anti-sematic and love every race of people regardless of their natural origin. My point here is not to divide but to bring to light the full weight and scope of what Jesus did for ALL of mankind not just a select group of people.
If the natural Jew is God’s only chosen then is that the Russian Jew, the Asian Jew, the African Jew…..just which one is it? I believe the Jew is God’s chosen people and so is every other race on the face of the earth. He chose all of mankind regardless of race creed or color to be sons of God. He chose all of us based on one thing and that is the blood of Jesus Christ. He made His choice now we must in turn choose Him by receiving the very life of Christ. It is this life that makes man the man He was created to be….the new man in Christ Jesus.
John 14:6 makes a very clear statement: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. There is no natural birth that births you into the Kingdom except first you go through Jesus and His blood. All men are the recipients of the grace of God. As all men fell in adam so all men were justified by Christ. Romans 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
Who then is the true Jew? Romans 2:28-29 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither [is that] circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision [is that] of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. If you are born from above the Jew is you!
It is not your natural birth that makes you a new creation it is the spiritual birth that makes you a son of God. The bible is not a natural book it is a spiritual book and when we try to naturalize the contents it leaves us with a fall short mentality. Jesus is not a respecter of persons He gave His life for all men. He said in John 12:32 if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. He did not leave out the Jew in the lifting up on the cross, He included everyman. Redemption for all of mankind. The heart of every man was intended to be the dwelling place of the Most High God. His desire is to live in man as God. By the sacrifice of Jesus and the blood He shed that is now a living reality that can be yours by simply acknowledging Him as your Savior, King and Lord…..Jesus Christ.
