God did not forgive the devil when he sinned because we need to take into consideration these reasons. ALLOW ME TO START WITH A SHOCK.
GOD CANNOT FORGIVE THE DEVIL: You may say oh Pastor Chrysolite but this is a very hard one to say, yes GOD CANNOT FORGIVE THE DEVIL WHEN THE DEVIL HIMSELF DOES NOT WANT TO BE FORGIVEN. BECAUSE HE IS NOT READY TO ASK FOR FORGIVENESS.
Now dear Friends, Do you also know that GOD WITH ALL HIS POWER CANNOT STOP MAN IF HE SO DESIRES TO GO TO HELL, EVEN WHEN MAN DIES AND HAD THE CHANCE TO COME BACK AND HE DOES NOT REPENT, GOD STILL CANNOT STOP HIM FROM GOING TO HELL OR THE LAKE OF FIRE FOR HIS WORD IS FOREVER SETTLED IN HEAVEN.
THE NATURE OR ATTRIBUTES OF GOD: When we think about the very attributes of God, in His Holiness which has the tenacity to propel you to nothingness, to throw you or hit u dead, when you think about the Glory of God, when you think about the worship that is going on in heaven The spirituality of God, The Infinity of God, The Eternity of God. The Immutability of God, The self sufficiency of God. The perfection of God, The freedom of God, The Omnipotence or ALL POWER of God: The Omniscience OR ALL KNOWING of God: The devil knew in his heart that God even knows what he will think of before he the devil [Lucifer] even starts to think of it. The Omnipresence of God: How can you Lucifer fight a God who is everywhere? Readers can you imagine fighting somebody and this opponent who is supposed to be standing before you is also behind you and not only that but also above you, this opponent is just not surrounding you, but the power He has is beyond measure, His power, and invincibility cannot be fathomed? LUCIFER WAS SO FOOLISH TO HAVE STARTED A FIGHT WITH GOD. When we think about the Justice or righteousness of God The holiness of God, The Truth of God, the Love of God, The Mercy of God, The Grace of God: man Lucifer was really ‘somebody else’ to have thought of what he did.
THE NATURE OF AN ANGEL. An angel is a spirit in and out, he has no flesh, they were also written in Heb 1:7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
THE LOCATION OF THE COMMITMENT OF THE SIN, the place where they committed this sin was heaven where dwelled the Almighty Himself, The father the Son and The Holy Spirit.
THE CONDITION OF HEAVEN: when you think about the spirituality and spiritual atmosphere or condition of Heaven, sin would even beg you not to allow it to be seen or giving birth. IT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO SIN WHEN U ARE IN THE VERY PRESENCE OF GOD.
THERE WAS NO TEMPTER IN HEAVEN. There was no devil in heaven at that time, TO TEMPT Lucifer and the other angels to commit sin.
NEGLIGENCE OF DUTY: Lucifer left his work of worship of God to concentrate on something else. Lucifer as the anointed cherub was supposed to lead the choir, and worship of God in Heaven, like it’s supposed to be done here on earth 24 / 7, EVERYDAY AND TIME. [We shall learn about WHAT EXACTLY WORSHIP IS LATER]
THE CONDITION FOR FORGIVENESS TO TAKE PLACE. THE DEVIL DOES NOT WANT TO BE FORGIVEN. Pride had engulf the devil so much that he does not ever see himself bowing to God and asking for forgiveness.
HARVEST HAS TO TAKE PLACE. The bible says whatever a man sows, that he shall reap.
10. THE EMBLEM TO FORGIVE SIN. Blood was what was to be used to forgive sin, and angels do not have blood, Man who had blood could also not shed his blood for an angel to be forgiven, the Father through the Son could also not appropriate the blood He had when He became man to shed that blood for an angel as the other REASONS ABOVE NEED TO ALSO BE FULFILLED TO MERIT BLOOD BEING SHED FOR AN ANGEL.
11. THE FREEDOM OF GOD. I want to take this attribute of God which means that God is a self-determining agent, a free personal being acting purely in accordance with His own perfections. Eph. 1:11, ‘Who works all things after the counsel of His will.’ This is where the clay cannot tell the potter why He had made Him into a tea kettle and not a flower vase. GOD DECIDES TO DO WHAT HE WISHES TO DO AND NO BODY, YES NOBODY; ABSOLUTELY NOBODY CAN QUESTION HIM.
